How Can I Celebrate Bead Week?

Local Bead Stores - host sales and events in your store and list them on Bead Week's Local Events Page.

Online Bead Stores - host a sale in honor of Bead Week and register as one of our Bead Week Enthusiasts!

Individuals or Bead Societies - host a Bead Week Bead-In. Find a meeting space, invite your friends or members to bead together for a few hours.

How to Throw a Bead Week Party *

1. Invite a few of your Beady Friends.

2. Each person needs to bring a strand of beads to share. (you can suggest a color scheme.)

All guest will also need to bring:

a focal bead

spacer beads

a clasp

beading wire

crimp beads

crimping pliers and wire cutters

3. When everyone arrives, dump the strands of beads into a large bowl. Divide the beads up randomly among your group.

4. String a memory necklace using your bead soup.
